Financial & Commercial Law Blog

About our founder

I'm a postgraduate law student with a First-Class degree in Philosophy and Economics, and I recently graduated second in my class from the GDL. My academic background has trained me to think rigorously, write clearly, and approach complex problems with structure and purpose — skills I now apply to a developing legal career focused on commercial and financial law.

Here, I write to explore how the law interacts with markets. I'm driven by a clear goal: to grow into a legal career where intellectual discipline and commercial reality meet.

What is the FCLB?

The Financial and Commercial Law Blog (FCLB) is a dedicated platform for the dissemination of insightful analysis and commentary at the intersection of finance, commerce, law, and economics. It aims to provide individuals with introductory insights into the various elements of finance, commerce and law.

This blog is only intended to be used as an introduction to each topic mentioned, and is by no means a comprehensive coverage of each topic, which would require long form work, which is not what I wanted for this blog.
